Just like the Laver and the Lampstand, the Table of Shewbread in the Tabernacle is depicting Jesus, the Bread of Life. And just like the priests had to keep the lampstand burning continuously, they had to keep 12 loaves of bread (representing 12 tribes, 12, the number of authority, government) on the Table of Shewbread, it was depicting our need to keep Him ever before us. The Bread of Life contains transforming power and it exposes the truth of who God is and who you are. We must have the Bread of Life – a present-day Jesus experience – and a continual renewing of our mind by the written Word so we can be who He has called us to be and do what He has called us to do. Every day we must consume the living word to keep us strong. To be victorious. To be partakers of our inheritance in Him.
