Hosanna! Hosanna means to praise, spin around, rejoice, and “save us…” The Savior that had been longed awaited for, had not only come, He came to us. He saved us. Yes, He was our triumphant King, and He also was restoring us to God’s original plan. And that means since He came to destroy the works of the enemy, we can too. Because God loved us, He didn’t just rescue us, He positioned us. Jesus came into Jerusalem, knowing His fate. Though He struggled in the Garden, He ultimately surrendered to His Father’s will. And you and I were His purpose! You and I were His reward. The plan of redemption was not just to get us into heaven, but that God would be glorified, Jesus would be glorified AND it would restore the former glory of God’s intentions for all of mankind. Hosanna to God in the Highest!
