  • With full determination or enthusiasm
  • With maximum effort—used chiefly in the phrase, go ALL OUT

I stopped being surprised at how many churches used ALL IN as their theme last year. It was also in stores, on TV and in speeches. When God is trying to get His point across He invades the airwaves. Whether people are aware or not, they are declaring and causing people to align with His purposes.

I love how He does that!

So this year, ALL OUT is going to challenge us ALL. We have had to really concentrate on getting ALL IN and being surrendered and focused on Jesus and what He said so we could repent and be cleaned up. We had to be ALL IN SO THAT when God announced ALL OUT we aren’t dragging our past into our present and into our future. We need to be CLEANED OUT to be SOLD OUT to be ALL OUT.

Hallelujah! There is never an end to a prophetic release. If you aren’t ALL IN, you still can be. However, our focus now must not be so inward, but outward. If we continue to ONLY look at what we need to do, we will forget that we must also concentrate on what we are to BE and DO.

Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

This is packed full of your assignments and your future, which must start in your present!

First, what is first? GO make disciples. Note that our definition says we must have full determination and enthusiasm! Well, of course. Do you understand that you can’t get anyone else on board to join you in your passions and pursuits if you, yourself, are not fully engaged and passionate about it?

So we are fasting and praying, and we must ask God that this year, we—and the full Body of Christ—will be full of fire, full of His Glory, and full of His passionate nature. What do they call the purpose of Jesus? The Passion! He was ALL IN and no one went ALL OUT like He did! He reproduced Himself in His disciples. Though not perfect, they learned to give their maximum efforts to make other disciples, and learned to stay on course by full determination!

Their FULL DETERMINATION had nothing to do with the hardships they would face. They pressed on because of the joy of knowing their determination was going to make the difference for lives that would affect lives that would affect lives. This year, we need to not only press in DEEP, but we must be like David who faced the challenge of Goliath with great enthusiasm because he was representing the God of Covenant.

We must be like Jeremiah who never stopped speaking truth, though it appeared most never listened. We are listening and many before us listened because of the words of that one man.

We must be like Joshua who pressed past natural reasoning and led God’s people forward with a unified SHOUT into their place of promise.

I could go on and on, but I challenge you today to do just that.

What Bible character do you know or will you press in to find, who was full of determination and enthusiasm and was able to GO and disciple others to do the same?

How do you see yourself on a scale of 1-10? Do you have little determination for the cause of Christ (going out to disciple others)? Are you somewhat determined, but your enthusiasm has changed? Or are you ALL OUT to GO make disciples?

Let me make this perfectly clear. Don’t confuse what I am saying with just going out to “witness” to someone. By ALL means, do that; but being ALL OUT means when God says go help someone in need, you go. When God says stop what you are doing right now and pray, you pray. When God says I want you to sacrificially give up x, y or z SO THAT you can use that maximum effort on loving others, you follow through. You are so thrilled that He trusts you to do that, that you don’t count the cost anymore, you just obey.

It’s not just time to arise, IT’S TIME TO GO.
