KINGDOM LIVING: Jesus is exalted!

Day: Day 3
Date: January 11, 2023
Title: KINGDOM LIVING: Jesus is exalted!

Today is a very important day for us to take in the Kingdom Reality of what is being said here.

The next pillar of truth released to the first New Testament Church is this:

Jesus is exalted at God’s right hand.

Acts 2:33 NLT

Now He is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand.

Where is Jesus? He is at the highest honor in Heaven.  I love knowing that!  He paid a price for that position when He didn’t have to.  He was already a part of the Trinity of God.  He chose US over comfort, glory, and being exalted and honored in Heaven to come and redeem us.

Why?  Because the Father’s heart was also Jesus’ heart – love and reconciliation no matter what the cost.

John 3:16-17 NASU

16 For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
17 God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

I want you to see Them today in your spirit. The precious Father, full of glory and light, was willing to let His Son come away from Him, to us, because, of His longing to have us be one with Him, as He created us to be. The Father, illuminating the Heavens, now sits again next to His precious Seed of Life, Jesus.

What does it mean to us that Jesus is exalted?

Exalted means elevated, glorified, and praised.

What beauty and majesty there is in the Throne Room!

Even there, Jesus is making intercession for those on earth.  Theirs is an “everlasting” love – an everlasting commitment to us.

Now, while our work is still before us, we must exalt Him as well.

Do you know how we must do that?

WORSHIP HIM!

Psalm 99:9 NASU

Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for holy is the Lord our God.

Worship isn’t singing.  Yes, it is using our mouths to lift up His name.  But it has never been limited to that.

  • We must worship Him by giving Him the first fruits of our day.
  • We must worship Him by living a life pleasing unto Him in holiness.
  • We must worship Him by obedience to love Him first and love others as ourselves.

Each one of these is a sermon unto itself.  I hope you will meditate on that and be honest with how you are worshipping the Lord and if you should be worshipping Him more, in holiness.

If you know you are not worshipping Him completely, please take a moment right now and decide how you can improve and put it into practice.

A lost and dying world is waiting for the good news of our Savior and all that can be theirs to participate in.

  1. PREPARE HIM A HABITATION

Exodus 15:2 KJV

The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him a habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

We must become a home for Him, a residence where He is welcome all of the time.  Where He can come and be exalted and honored.

Our heart’s intention must be directed toward Him.

Think of this: this Scripture doesn’t just tell us what to do, it tells us what we actually are capable of doing.

We can be a place where He is happy to reside.

He is longing for His Church to welcome Him moment by moment in our lives – not just placing Him somewhere that He gets acknowledged once in a while.

NO, we can prepare Him a habitation where He is celebrated and He will come and make Himself known to us.  What a privileged people we are!

  1. INSIST ON UNITY TO EXALT HIM PROPERLY

Psalm 34:3 KJV

O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.

Let’s magnify Him–meaning to make Him LARGE – in body, mind, estate, and honor.

  • Advance His Kingdom together, TOGETHER! I know it isn’t proper to say it that way, but I am making the point.  We cannot magnify Him the way He deserves by doing our own thing without including others.  Jesus’ prayer was that the Father would make us one as They are One. That is a tall order.

But this is the season where we can answer the cry of His heart by tearing down offense, division, and singular advancement.  We must move as He created us to move.  With carrying one another’s burdens and reaching out to the poor and the widow.  To actuate Heaven’s will on earth as it is in Heaven.

  • We magnify Him by choosing to be excellent in loving, in serving, in portraying Him to others and inviting them to know Him.
  • We magnify Him by growing up, living a sold-out life of discipline to choose Him and put Him first.
  • We magnify Him by Increase. We can live a life above the world’s standards, proving that our God is greater. As we honor Him, He will pour out blessings the world needs to see to draw them to His heart.
  • We magnify Him by promoting Him in making disciples and teaching and training them.

I realize there is a lot in this day.  I am praying for you not to just read this, but to absorb it.

Think about it, and yield yourself to these instructions from the Word.

Because this is not our year, THIS IS HIS YEAR!

ACTIVATION:

Check your heart to see if you need to ask to be reconciled to someone with love and forgiveness.  If so, call them, or go to them, and have a godly conversation to bring about unity.  ONLY if you don’t find anything within yourself, then:  Pray for others who need to be reconciled and intercede on their behalf.

PRAYER:

Dear Lord,

We are determined to partner with You!  We get to partner with you to continue Your mission to disciple, empower and transform individuals, cities, and nations.

We know that we can exalt Your Name by living a Kingdom life.  We are finding keys to serve You and we are ready and able to rise up and cause the kingdom of darkness to tremble and let loose of that which always has belonged to You.

We call forth unfaltering love for one another!

We call forth souls! We call forth a willingness to lay down our lives for Your sake as You laid Yours down for our sake. We give You our allegiance!

Amen.
