LIBERTY SCRIBES SERIES 2019 (1: 1/20/19)
God did everything for us that we may have an understanding of the sacrifice that was made for us. Jesus came on purpose with a heavenly agenda to make our salvation perfect through His suffering. The emblems of His sacrifice include the wood and the blood. The wood signified the crucifixion or putting to death of our sinful old nature and the blood signified the cleansing and purifying of our hearts.
2 Cor. 3:18 deeply reveals to us what our new nature is as we are being changed into glory. As we behold Him, we see ourselves in Him, in His image and in His glory, the conformity of His very nature as we look into the mirror of salvation. The Word of God cleanses and washes us thoroughly and continuously as a river of living waters. It furnishes us into being the perfected Bride of Christ. Being sunk in the Word gives you the “bounce” against the world’s opinion as you remain unmovable. The Word of God and its truth reinforces your stability and resilience against the world’s chaotic storms and doctrines.
We are Christ’s representatives, and if we walk clean and free, we will help others around us come to the truth of the freedom we’ve been offered through salvation. When people see us, they should see Jesus, and His greatness that has been embedded inside of us. We
are a living temple for God. He abides in us and we abide in him. It is imminent that His image will be projected through us as we illuminate His glory to the rest of the world.
Ezekiel 36:37 reiterates that the Spirit of the Lord will be deployed in us that we may execute His statutes. As we remain carriers of His Spirit, out of us shall flow rivers of living waters. When the Spirit of the Lord has taken a hold of us, we can be influencers of nations; that every nation will come to the knowledge of the only true God.
We should be a reflection of God on the earth. When we are beholding Him, we should radiate the essence of His image to the rest of the world – as He cleanses us by the washing of the Word – His very truth. Giving our all to Him and letting Him project Himself through us requires that we be in total obedience and reckless abandon to His will.
When we yield to God to be used for His glory, He bestows us with more of His presence. Let’s just obey Him and figure out every minute and second what He wants to wrought through us – to the glory of His name.
