We are an extension of Christ, we are His body, which forms the Church, His bride. In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he describes marriage between a man and a woman, yet he was referring to Christ and His bride. That’s us! He has laid down His life for us, and we are to become one flesh with Him! This is a mystery, but He is bringing more revelation as we seek to be the Bride without spot or wrinkle. This is God’s eternal plan. We are not to be lukewarm, like the church in Laodicea, but to be so in love with Him, we seek after Him wholeheartedly, without reservation, and like Mary, be a laid-down lover and say, “Let it be to me according to your word!”
