Rather than see what appeared to be (ruins), Nehemiah saw what needed to be about Jerusalem. He came with a fresh mind of understanding and led a crusade in the land to rise up and BUILD the walls of Jerusalem –that they would be restored and no longer become a reproach.
The devil is so afraid that the church is going to get a hold of who they are and they would regain their faith and their freedom to restoration. It starts with our prayers! Prayers actually build a higher wall of refuge than physical walls that could be laid to ruins.
God has given us power to have dominion over everything; and when it feels like we have lost our strength and our courage, our voice of praise, affirmations of our faith and words of our testimonies make us over-comers.
When we have that determination – then we receive what our King (God)
has in stock for us. We already have all of heaven’s arsenal to walk in our authority and take back everything that is ours from the enemy.
Nehemiah charged the people: Remember the Lord, he is great and awesome (Nehemiah 4:14b). Do not be afraid of the enemy and fight for your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.
We may have been beaten down by all of the circumstances around us, but the bigger picture is the BIGGER picture. We have the keys to our victories, it’s in the power of our tongue – in our prayers, in our decrees, in the truths inscribed on the plates of our hearts.
The keys to taking back our territories is in us. It’s the power of the Holy Spirit in us. Do not be silent!
