2022 Fasting Guide: REALIZATION – Accomplish – Day 14

Title: REALIZATION – Accomplish
Day: 14

Date: January 23, 2022

Realization actually means:

  • Discover
  • Restore
  • Conceive
  • Realized assets
  • To bring into concrete existence
  • Accomplish

We are at the end of week two. We will meet at the church together for week three of our fast. How exciting it is to spend this time together, as we move into the new season of escalation with our Lord and Savior and each other.

I am so happy to be able to experience Him together, as one.

Today, we will look at the word accomplish as the last word for this week of realization.

Accomplish:

  • To bring about a result by effort
  • To fulfill
  • To succeed in reaching (a stage in a progression)
  • To equip thoroughly

So, we must understand this:  We are moving into the time of our lives where God is causing us to realize that it is a command, not a suggestion, to press into Him so that we can reach others as He desires.

As Christians, we carry everything the world needs right now.

We are coming into the realization that not only can we count on God, but God must be able to count on us.

This is a two-way relationship.

Will this take effort? Yes!

Will it continue to challenge the way we think, the way we respond to God and to others? Yes!

Will it be through progressive revelation? Yes.

Will it take determined obedience? Yes.

But these are not hard things. The real realization needed is this:  We are a privileged people.

John 3:21 NIV

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.

We are to know Him and the power of His transforming love.

This is not about us; this is about Him, and about making Him famous in the earth.

Colossians 1:6 TPT

This is the wonderful message that is being spread everywhere, powerfully changing hearts throughout the earth, just like it has changed you! Every believer of this good news bears the fruit of eternal life as they experience the reality of God’s grace.

We are the wonderful Bride of Christ. We are preparing ourselves to be ready for His return by staying full of the Holy Spirit, staying full of expectancy.

We are also staying full of desire for the Spirit actions that are needed for others to know Him.

John 3:29 NIV

The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice.

What is it that He wants us to accomplish?

The gifts of the Spirit will be escalated during this season, because God is going to utilize what He has provided for us and through us for the benefit of others.

We will need to be determined to be willing to do whatever, whenever for whoever.

Even just writing this makes my heart soar to think of all the lives that can be changed by our willingness to be utilized to the full for His sake.

Oh, how I love Him! Oh, how I want Him to be happy with how we respond to Him in the here and now!

Colossians 3:1-3 NIV

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Now, let me introduce you to Paul being “real” about what it will take:

Colossians 3:5-9 NIV

5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,
7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.
8 But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices,

Well, that is quite a list! I know it is time for us to just be real before God and let Him sanctify anything in our lives that does not represent Him well.

Colossians 3:10-17 NASB

10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him— 11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.
12 So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

People of God, we must do everything as unto the Lord. WHATEVER we do, do it as unto the Lord.

The time is now! We are His people.

Prayer:

God, help me to live honestly before You, not hiding anything from You, since you know it already. Help me to live honest and true, with total dependence on You.
Anything I have that is good and righteous comes from our relationship. Please escalate my desires and my obedience. Help me to accomplish everything You have planned for me!
I love You, but I want to be MORE in LOVE with You than anyone, or anything else.
As Your people move into a new season of fruitfulness, please make me Your very own treasure to be seen and known to bring all the glory to You.
I want to make Your name famous. Let it be none of me and all of You, I pray.
Jesus, You are my precious treasure. Let my life reflect You in all I say, do and think.
In Your name, I pray. Amen.
