Pastor Calvin imparted an urgency about the will of God being that none should perish without receiving Jesus as Savior! If we truly believe that Jesus is coming back soon, nearer than when we first believed, every sign happening right now, near and at the door, then there needs to be an urgency that grips our hearts! We are not ashamed of the gospel, so we must seize the moment, receive grace for each day, live holy, pray and GO with the fire and glory of God to advance His Kingdom! There is only one thing better than heaven for you, and that is all the people you take with you to heaven will make heaven even better for you! God doesn’t care near as much about you getting your blessing as He cares about you getting your neighbor saved and on the way to heaven!
