For the disciples of Jesus, their experience on the Day of Pentecost was no small happening. They were filled and infused with power to have enough impact to change the world. This is what the Church is needing today. Impact. By the power of the Holy Ghost ... not our wonderful ideas. Pentecost is powerful, for it is the power of God manifested in His people to bring the needed change. The disruption we have been experiencing in the earth can cause us to look at the problem instead of the answer. The Spirit of the Lord is increasing our perception of what is really going on. We must keep our eyes on Him. It is about relationship and our own inheritance in Christ to FULFILL the eternal purposes of God. When Christians celebrate and operate in the Spirit that Jesus sent, we will build up each other and strengthen the Church as a whole, and then there will be an impact on society.
