Pastor Dawn beautifully presented the case for every believer to follow God’s command and be baptized. Jesus’s baptism shows us so clearly that as our Savior He identifies with sinners, even though He Himself was sinless. Just as the windows of heaven opened at Jesus’ baptism, you also can expect the windows of heaven to open for you, and grace to come upon you to fulfill your godly purpose and destiny. This baptism is your “water tomb,” and you can have faith that your old self is being buried under the water and you are rising to a new life in God! It is beautiful that the first action in His earthly ministry was baptism, and His last thing of earthly ministry was to tell us go baptize others in His name!
