Day: Day 21
Date: January 28, 2024
We have looked at the entire book of Nehemiah and how God was able to partner with someone to put things back into Kingdom order.
This is where we begin to understand that everything in the Old Testament is a shadow of what comes to pass in the New Testament.
Nehemiah’s name means comforter. He is the Old Testament depiction of the Holy Spirit.
Through Nehemiah, we have come to understand that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, is the one that lives in us. He is still providing a way for an entire nation to get back to the place where God can be the center of everyone’s attention and affection.
As we recognize that all of the book of Nehemiah is a message for us to be applied to our lives, we must awaken ourselves to actually apply it to our lives.
Psalm 24:7 TPT
So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for He is about to come through you.
The Church is the living gateway! We are the doorways of eternity for others!
God has a plan for RE-ESTABLISHING what He desires for ALL of His children.
We must learn how vitally important we are to the results that God wants to bring forth. We must believe that we are powerful because we are not living according to our own strength. We have been endowed with power from on high!
When we view things from a natural viewpoint, there seems to be no way to achieve victory. This is because the trauma we have been experiencing and the voices that bring bad news cause the enemy to look big.
From the Heavenly viewpoint, however, our Savior is sitting as the complete Victor over the enemy and He has joined us to Himself.
Ephesians 6:10 NKJV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
He sent the Holy Spirit and His power to do HIS work through us.
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
And there is another element that is needed—our faith.
1 John 5:4 NKJV
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Jesus won the victory and His victory IS our victory.
The Spirit empowers us to be witnesses, and that does not just mean talking about salvation to others with words. It means living our life intentionally to love others into His waiting arms.
This is the year we must discover all the gifts God has bestowed upon us, and allow them to be tempered and brought out for His use.
The King of Glory is about to come through you.
Yes, YOU!
If we saw ourselves as He sees us, we would no longer operate out of our mind, because that is part of the natural man. We are to operate out of our SPIRIT man, partnering with the Holy Spirit in supernatural power to release His love everywhere we go.
But in order to do that we must ascend. By that I mean to ascend to the Throne through prayer.
We must realize that we usually just pray until we get some relief, and then we go about living the way we have always lived. But we are not
pressing past relief into our breakthrough.
We must ascend by understanding we can only accomplish things God’s way, by moving with Him.
Psalms 24:3 TPT
Who, then, is allowed to ascend the mountain of Yahweh?
And who has the privilege of entering into God’s Holy Place?
WE ARE! THE CHILDREN OF GOD THAT HAVE BEEN SAVED AND WASHED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB HAVE THIS PRIVILEGE!
Psalms 24:4 TPT
Those who are clean—whose works and ways are pure, whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth, those who never deceive, whose words are sure.
We are those who work with Him and have His blessings!
Psalms 24:5 TPT
They will receive Yahweh’s blessing and righteousness given by the Savior-God.
David wrote this, but we LIVE in it!
Psalms 24:6 TPT
They will stand before God, for they seek the pleasure of God’s face, the God of Jacob. Pause in His presence.
The veil has been torn and we can boldly come before the throne of grace.
What an awesome revelation for us to live by!
We often read it, we can quote it, but it’s time to live accordingly. We don’t just fight against the enemy; we fight by entering into the throne room and becoming equipped!
Psalms 24:8 TPT
You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, Yahweh, invincible in every way!
Our Mighty One is with us!
We come from a place of victory, not from a place of lack. If we can recognize this, we will respond differently because we will see ourselves already as victors and not just struggling to get by.
We have battles, but we are more than conquerors who will grab others by the hand and call them to be more than conquerors, as well.
We must open our spiritual eyes to see those we need to reach.
God has said Liberty is a teaching and training center. We need to open up the doors for that again. We must ALL be willing to do our part.
We need to seek God’s face together for His strategies of how to touch lost and dying people before it is too late.
Eternity is at hand. The fields are ripe.
We have the most beautiful thing to share—the love of God that surpasses natural understanding.
My heart has broken many times while writing this fasting guide as I recognize how many people are lost, and how important it is for the Body of Christ to get past our trauma and come alive as God’s doors for others to know Him and the power of His love.
Psalms 24:9-10 TPT
9 So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you eternal doors! Here he comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.
10 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” He is Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, the invincible commander of Heaven’s hosts! Yes, He is the King of Glory!
We are living gateways! We are making a way for others to come through the gates to encounter God.
As we study and pray together, I know that God is going to awaken us to establish a place where Jesus can reign in victory. It will be different and more powerful.
Despite the obstacles we have faced or how we feel, the higher truth is that Jesus has already won the victory. We must renew our confidence in the victory of Jesus and rest in that truth.
As surrendered ones, we must allow our faith to once again be secure in Jesus’ victory and believe again that those who are revolting against Him can respond to His grace just as we continue to do.
Today, I am going to share an activation that Farrell shared with me.
ACTIVATION
Pick one or two things that really bother you about what the enemy is doing in our culture.
Maybe you are concerned about the immorality being taught in our public schools. Perhaps, your focus is the corruption in politics which appears to be a hopeless cause. Or maybe some in your family or neighborhood are acting in complete rebellion against Christ.
Let’s just take a moment now and consider what top one or two concerns are most heavy on our hearts. Once you have them, write them down on a piece of paper or make a note of them on your phone. (Allow a moment for a quiet reflection and listening).
Now, this week I challenge you to go and pray in close proximity to that need. For example, if you are concerned about education, go to a place where you can at least see a public school.
Maybe you want to pray over Churches. Go sit in front of two of them of different denominations, and pray for unity.
Maybe you are most concerned about marriages. Drive through your neighborhood and pray for the families.
First, ask in prayer for the victory of Jesus to be known and surrendered to in that place.
Second, I want you to imagine what it will look like when the victory of Jesus possesses that place.
Third, declare and decree it is done, and stay until you know God is making the impossible possible.
Fourth, ask God what you are to actively do to be the answer to these needs and how to plug this into your life.
Fifth, obey and share with others.
I know to RE-ESTABLISH we must establish our life according to the Word and we must do all that we do unto HIM WHOLEHEARTEDLY.
Let us arise and build and RE-ESTABLISH our lives upon the foundational truths of the Word of God and the prophetic words we have received.
We are going to do some activations, events, and training this year. Be a part!
Be excited about what God will do as we move and partner with Him to continue His mission to disciple, empower, and transform individuals, cities, and nations.
AMEN.
PRAYER
Lord,
Thank You for this precious time we devote to You each year.
Thank You for receiving us, guiding us, and awakening us.
We are so grateful to know You, to love You and to serve You and others as You continue to bring divine connections.
Let us follow You into the unknown to make Your name known on this earth.
Allow us to ascend into the Heavenly realm where we can experience what is needed to bring Heaven to earth in a real way.
We desire to be the answer to Your prayers, Jesus.
Help us to be continually conscious of You and others, and not to focus on ourselves and our needs.
We surrender all to You as You provide more than enough for us.
In 52 days the walls were REBUILT in Jerusalem. We are putting our faith that as we join together and take our section of the wall, we will be able
to REBUILD and go beyond anything we have previously been able to accomplish.
We thank You in advance.
We thank You for Your love and we love You right back, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
AMEN!
