JESUS

Day: Day Twelve
Date: January 16, 2026

Today, we turn our eyes to the One who perfectly embodied that call: Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is not only our Savior but also our example. He is the One who showed us what it means to live completely surrendered to the Father’s will—the literal Highest Call of God.

He was THE PERFECT MODEL OF ALIGNMENT.

John 6:38

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Jesus lived every moment of His life in Alignment with the Father’s will.

From His birth to His resurrection, His only mission was obedience to Heaven’s plan.

He didn’t live for approval, comfort, or earthly reward. He lived for the pleasure of His Father. Heavenly Alignment, at its highest form, looks like this—absolute surrender to God’s purpose.

Look at the obedience of LOVE:

Philippians 2:5–8

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant,
7 and coming in the likeness of men.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus’ obedience was not mechanical—it was born out of love. He chose humility. He chose servanthood. He chose the cross.

True Alignment with Heaven always requires humility. It means laying down our rights, our pride, and our preferences to fulfill the Father’s desire.

Jesus didn’t just talk about surrender—He lived it unto death. Before the cross came Gethsemane—His place of testing.

Luke 22:41–42

41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed,
42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

In that moment, Jesus showed us that Alignment isn’t always easy—but it’s always necessary.

We will never face what Jesus faced, because He took the full weightiness of our sin upon His back so we could be reunited with the Father.

He faced the full weight of human weakness and fear, yet He chose surrender. His “nevertheless” became the hinge of redemption history.

Every believer must come to their own Gethsemane moment—the place where personal will bows to divine purpose. Every believer must reach for the High Call individually.

It is hard for us to remember that we, too, must lay down our life for others if we are to follow Him completely.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

If we are Aligned with Heaven’s purposes, we will also be able to walk in Heaven’s authority. Because Jesus was Aligned with Heaven, He carried Heaven’s authority on earth.

John 5:19

Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”

Jesus didn’t move independently. He watched Heaven and mirrored it.

That’s the essence of Heavenly Alignment—living so connected to God that your actions reflect His heart.

When we are Aligned like Jesus, miracles flow naturally because we are moving in sync with Heaven’s rhythm.

Are you believing for miracles? I AM and I know we can participate in Heaven coming to earth for others because we KNOW HIM and the power of His love.

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus endured the cross because He saw beyond the pain to the promise.

He knew the reward of obedience—reconciliation, resurrection, and eternal glory and JOY on earth as we become the conduit to be the answer for others.

We must stay focused with eternal vision.

The surrender may be the cost for us, but to operate in the power of the resurrection is the reward.

Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Jesus shows us that Heavenly Alignment is not just about direction—it’s about devotion. He Aligned His life with the Father not out of duty, but out of love.

Every miracle, every teaching, every act of compassion flowed from that Alignment.

If we are to walk in the High Call of God, we must live as Jesus lived—surrendered, Spirit-led, and anchored in love.

ACTION
Ask yourself:

  • Is my life Aligned with the Father’s will, or my own will?
  • Do my choices reflect Heaven’s priorities?

Today, spend time in prayer asking God to reveal areas where your will might be out of Alignment.

  • Where are you resisting His direction?
  • Where is He asking for a “yes” that you’ve delayed? Then, like Jesus, say, “Father, not my will, but Yours be done.”

Make this your declaration throughout the day. Let obedience become your offering.

PRAYER
Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus, the perfect example of Heavenly Alignment. Teach me to walk as He walked—humble, obedient, and surrendered.
Help me to lay down my will and say, “Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours be done.” May my heart mirror Your Son’s heart.
Align my desires, my plans, and my thoughts with Heaven’s purpose. Let my life bring glory to You, just as Jesus did.
In His Name I pray
Amen
