We have learned about XPANDING in many areas through the lives of Moses and Joshua.
We are to the point where the people of Israel were getting to cross the Jordan River with Joshua as the leader.
They were, indeed, going to cross over with another miraculous intervention of God. But God would require it to be accomplished with assignments for others to be involved in the needed miracle to begin their journey to their inheritance of their Promised Land.
As you know, the Lord and I had a really good interaction in November 2024. I did not know what was stopping our growth and our excitement for moving forward.
There is much to the story, but let me say I first had to humble myself before Him, and cry out with a willingness to do whatever He desired. I also had to be desperate to hear what He had to say and receive whatever He said. I needed to only want to know what was on His heart, to get His directives.
What He said that was the hardest thing for me to hear was this:
“I can’t bless disobedience.”
For those of you who know me, you know that I would never intentionally disobey God. I had been under attack in several ways all at one time, but there are no excuses even though I was worn down physically.
I cried when I heard Him say that, but I was not worried. I know He only reveals to deal with things that need to be dealt with, and heal what needs to be healed.
So I further inquired of the Lord, “What do you mean?”
He said, “What scripture is Liberty based on?” And, of course, I answered, “Isaiah 61.”
He said, “Tell Me the first thing it says,” to which I replied “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.”
He stopped me right there and reminded me that I am a prophet. I say that in great humility and know the huge responsibility it carries. He said, “You have lost your voice because you have tendered your heart more for the people than you have for the word of the LORD.” (I am not quoting directly here, this was a very long, intense conversation we had.) In other words, I needed to operate in the gift of hearing HIS voice BY THE SPIRIT AND RELEASE BY THE SPIRIT so that the impact would be life altering.

Isaiah, the prophet, penned these words that would foretell the coming Messiah, but it would also be the words used when I was ordained and it would be the very verses the Lord gave to found Liberty.
These are our words that we need to heed and bring forth in our lives.
So then He said, “Go on.
Isaiah 61
1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
He asked, “Who is preaching the gospel to the poor?”
This must be our first priority, but we have not seen an influx of many salvations.
How could that be when we are surrounded by people lost and broken and enslaved by so many torments from the enemy?
I know I love people. I know you do also. I pray for the lost. I know you do also. I win people one on one most often. I am not sure about all of you with this part,
Brokenhearted, I realized we aren’t carrying the anointing of Isaiah 61: 1 with the heart of God.
He called us for this, and that means there is an anointing for it.
Furthermore, that means we are not walking in that anointing as we should and that is disobedience.
I responded the way I desire all of us to respond. Repentance came and then I asked Him to come in His love and His Presence and put those people IN MY HEART, by the SPIRIT, so that it would not become a burden to obey. I knew it would bring joy and faith, so I could make a way for all of us to walk in this anointing knowing God is partnering with us.
Our Vision Statement says:
“Partnering with Jesus to continue His mission to disciple, empower and transform individuals, cities and nations.”
Therefore, we have already known the end result God wants.
Now we must intentionally join Him.
So how do we go forward in this?
- Step ONE: Worship HIM personally and open your heart to the Spirit of the Living God. Give Him permission to fill your heart with what fills His heart.
- Step TWO: Obey.
Sounds too simple? The gospel isn’t hard.
Jesus said “Go.”
Mark 16:15-18
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
He also said, “How will they hear without a preacher?”
Romans 10:14
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

I hope this day of the fasting guide has blessed you with conviction from the Holy Spirit.
He is the motivator that we need to bring things into proper order.
I can’t go any further today until I lead you into a prayer that we all need.
Please open your heart to receive what you need to obey God with the joy, peace and anointing that only He can provide for us.
PRAYER
Holy Spirit, we come today knowing You are our Teacher. You have commissioned us at Liberty Life Center and have said You would come upon us to preach the good news to the poor.
We recognize this has not been our best gift of operation.
So we repent. Please forgive us for not having our priorities in the right place.
We need You to adjust our heart and we are crying out today for You to come and impart the compassion that compels, that will not leave us as we are.
We desire to be conformed to the image of Christ in all that He meant us to be. So come upon us, and take out any blockage, any excuses, and anything that is stopping us from pure obedience to the call we have on our life.
We are sorrowful to know we have not been walking in full obedience, but we are happy that You don’t leave us undone.
Come, Holy Spirit, and remove the debris and pour Your oil in us that sets us on fire. Burn out all our own dross so that we are effective when we stand before the ones that need to experience Your fire as well.
This is exciting that You have brought this to our attention, so we can right the wrongs and walk in the miraculous with your directions.
We love You. We want to move with You. We want to lift up the name of Jesus and operate in the power He bestowed upon us. We need the mighty rushing wind to come and blow into us and through us to set the captives free.
We are entering this year with full obedience in Jesus’ mighty name.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for guiding our way.
Thank You, Father God, for opening our eyes to see our mandate come alive.
