Saved (Salvation Story):

I had the amazing privilege of being raised in a small, riverfront town in the Midwest. There are many fond memories I have of my younger years, with the most important one being the day I was introduced to Jesus as my Savior. I was six years old. My family had just finished our regular devotion time, where my parents read from the Bible and we kids obediently sat and listened, even though we probably understood very little of what was being read. At the end of this family time, my parents asked if I was ready to give my life to Jesus. I remember the excitement I felt as if it were yesterday. On that day, over 35 years ago, I started a journey with Jesus that I have never regretted.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating:

Every time I see an airplane take off I say to myself, “WHAT!!!!”

More About Me

  • Life Motto

To know Jesus and to make Him famous in the earth!

  • My Hero

The best church answer I can give is Jesus; no one comes close to Him. Dropping the standard down a bit, I would say the Founding Fathers of the United States of America. They are all my heroes!

  • One of My Greatest Experiences with God

When I was 14, I was attending a July 4th musical production at the First Assembly of God church in Burlington, IA. During this production, the choir began to sing a song that had these words: “We your people will never ever let, this mighty nation turn from you, or ever forget. We make this declaration, to the God of all creation, You are the only strength that we hold to. America she stands, holding by Your hand. With heartfelt praise we raise our love to you.” While the choir was singing these words, a strong presence of the Lord filled my spirit. With tears in my eyes and the intense anointing of God on me, God called me to be an influencer of His in this nation. To be one of His revivalists that would release His Kingdom to this nation once again. Although I didn’t understand the complete meaning of this visitation, I knew that it was the beginning of an amazing journey into the destiny of God for my life.

  • Most People Don’t Know This About Me

I am more of an introvert in extrovert clothing. I often appear to be bold, outgoing, and comfortable with being in the limelight, but the opposite is actually true. I have just learned to live outside of my comfort zone.
