You have often heard me say that you need to look at the BIG picture of God. You usually contain your thinking and even your dreaming to what it looks like to you in your small, limited circle of influence.
Do you remember the sermons I did on discipleship in September 2019? If you didn’t hear these teachings or you would like to recall the truths revealed in them, you can go to our website at LibertyLifeCenter.org and renew yourself to the ways that Jesus taught His disciples and what the results were. You will find eye-opening revelations in these teachings, specifically with Peter, James, and John.
The enemy would like nothing better than to keep you believing that there is no breakthrough available for you. You may have a hard time in one area or in many areas, because the enemy has surrounded you with circumstantial evidence to reinforce his lies that there is no way out!
The word investment is usually known by people who commit money to something in order to earn a financial return. Do you know why they would sacrifice something now in order to do that? Because they believe in the future. They believe that what they invest in today will bring security for tomorrow. They set goals, they plan, they give, and they believe for a return.
Today we are going to talk about our energy. We know that the only things we have to give is our time, talent, energy, and finances. I think most people would agree that it is hard to keep our energies flowing—let alone keep them flowing in the right direction.
My friends, we are almost halfway through the fast, and God has been so good to us!
In this new season, we can go forward by letting go of the things we are used to doing, so that we can embrace the things that God is doing.
Do you remember the scene in the Garden of Gethsemane? Jesus tried to get some back-up from Peter, James and John. He wanted them to help Him pray, to tarry, to wait for the surrender to take place fully in His heart. Jesus could have chosen to not actually give His life. There was a war within His soul to give in to God’s perfect will. Jesus struggled as He asked God to take this cup away from Him IF POSSIBLE.
We have ALL experienced the amazing things that happen when true worship comes from the people leading worship. Then the people who are present come into that same place where the focus is only on God. That is when the shift occurs! We shift from just singing to letting OUT the cry of our hearts that desire only to honor God.
Sacrifice is not a very popular word in this day and age. Honestly, who WANTS to sacrifice? Especially if you know the meaning.
I don’t know about you, but obedience is a big word to me. It means: To follow the commands and guidance of: to comply with.
We know that God doesn’t do anything without purpose, design and structure. We also know that His design and structure release our own purpose with the Holy SPIRIT’S POWER! Let us look at God’s design and structure that will help us reach His intended potential.
We know from the Word that we are called to live a different kind of life than those who live without experiencing the life-changing moment of salvation. Just think of what salvation includes!
There is no other way to be SPIRIT EMPOWERED than to be communing with the Godhead. Nothing ever happens that will have a lasting effect without prayer, for that is how we build relationship with God, Himself. That is how we become secure in who we are in Him and His faithfulness to us.
We are living in a time where it is really necessary to live with the POWER of the Holy Ghost active in our lives. Otherwise, the things going on around us and around the world could steal our joy, our peace, and our focus.
This is the year that we will experience the reality of being SPIRIT EMPOWERED to be ALL OUT.
Well, as we have gone through this fasting guide and have heard the word of the Lord for 2019, we should all have great anticipation for the future of all that God holds for each one of us.
Who did Jesus die for? ALL. Yes, it included you and me. But it didn’t stop there. It was for ALL. ALL inclusive. Jesus went ALL OUT for ALL.
What about us? What about the Church, the Bride, and what can we do to best display Him? It is clearly stated for us in the letter the Spirit wrote to a church that would have gotten an “A” in today’s current evaluation system by most people.
You are probably asking, “What about me?” As you pursue God’s heart, He will give you the desires of your heart. That is scriptural, you know.
Those crazy disciples who were willing to pay the price to wait for their empowerment as they entered into one accord, got the experience that was certainly not natural. It was God’s super on their natural!
So we know that if we are going to be ALL OUT for God, we cannot do it without the empowerment of God. Jesus knew that the disciples (all of them, including us) would need Him – the Holy Ghost – to be the driving force inside of us.
We have defined ALL OUT in our first week of fasting. We have looked at examples in the Word of God of people who demonstrated going ALL OUT. Now we are going to look at how we, God’s chosen people in this timeframe of history, demonstrate going ALL OUT.
This is our last day of looking at those who were ALL OUT for God. I hope this helps you to see how diverse their gifts were and what a difference their obedience made.
This week, we are studying the lives of people who went ALL OUT for God, that we may learn from them and apply their principles to our lives.
