Healing Scriptures and Declarations

  1. Read these Bible verses with the intention of hiding them in your heart.
  2. Think about what you are reading and ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation on them.
  3. Then, go back and speak them as a declaration … you will find them in bold.
  4. Thank God for watching over His Word to perform it, and for just being the wonderful, loving God that He is.
  5. Prepare your testimony as you continue (see yourself whole)

All Bible references are from The Amplified Bible.

Psalm 103:1-3

BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases.

I declare that I have a will, and my will is to bless You, Lord.  I will affectionately and gratefully praise You with my soul, and with all that is the deepest parts of me, I will bless Your holy name.  I will affectionately, gratefully praise You my Lord, and I will not forget even one of your benefits, no not one! And I recognize that it is You that forgave every one of my sins, my faults, my shortcomings and that You already healed every sickness and disease that has tried to come upon me.

Psalm 118:17

I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

I declare I am not going to die, but I am going to live.  And I am going to live with purpose – to declare Your wonderful name and Your wonderful works! I am going to tell everyone, everywhere about You and how awesome You have moved on my behalf and will do the same for them!

Psalm 147:3

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].

I am declaring that You, Jesus, came to heal my brokenness in every area, and You are binding up my wounds, curing my pain and my sorrow, and doing the same for those I am praying in agreement with.

Proverbs 4:20-22

My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.

I come into agreement with what You have asked me to do. I am attending to Your words.  I am not going to let them out of my sight, I am keeping them in the center of my heart, as I declare I am finding them, and they are bringing healing and health to every part of me, now!

Exodus 23:25

You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and will take sickness from your midst.

I declare that I WILL to serve You Lord, my God. You will bless all that I need to sustain my life, and You are taking sickness from my midst in Jesus’ name.

Proverbs 3:7-8

Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones.

I will not operate in my own strength or in pride, in any area of my life. Instead, I will reverently fear and worship You, Lord, and I choose, every day, to turn entirely away from evil. As I do, it brings healing to my nervous system, to my tendons and muscles, to my bones, to my blood, to my eyes, and my entire operating system, as it works in harmony with my honor to You.

Jeremiah 17:14

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.

I declare that when You took the stripes on Your back, You healed me, You saved me, and You are saving me daily, and I give You praise!

Matthew 9:20-22

And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment; for she kept saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.” Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, “Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.” And at once the woman was restored to health.

I declare You are no respecter of persons, and just as that woman who had suffered and could not find a remedy realized that her remedy was found in touching You, I reach to You Lord, and I am encouraged. You have set Your eyes on me, calling me Your very own, assuring me that my faith in You has made me whole. I am restored to health!

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.

I come, grateful for others who are praying for my well-being, and I pray for them as well, that they will prosper in every way, body, soul and spirit, in Your wonderful name, Jesus.

Mark 16:17-18

And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; they will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

I declare that I am anointed and appointed, and that signs and wonders follow me because I am a believer. Therefore in Your name, Jesus, I will cast out demons, I will pray in my heavenly language, and I am protected from any dangerous attack from the outside or inside. I will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover!

Matthew 4:23-24

And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people. So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them.

I declare that You are the Christ, and You taught us the will of the Father. You went and told the truth, the good news about who You were, and what You would accomplish. And as You did, You demonstrated the Kingdom of God on earth, healing every disease and every weakness and every infirmity, for all the people then, and for all people NOW.  You spread the good news that Your name will always be the highest name above every name because You are the same—then, and now, and forever. You are our deliverer and I am saved from my enemy, from infirmity, and I declare my wholeness now.

Matthew 8:16-17

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases.

I decree to every demon and every spirit that would keep me, or those I pray for that are being attacked with any kind of sickness, disease, weakness, infirmity, that their power is broken because Jesus came and took it away as He hung on the cross for our full healing in every way.

Psalm 30:2
O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.

I declare You are my Lord and my God, and as I cry to You, I receive my healing!

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.

With full assurance, I declare that Jesus has borne my sickness, weakness, emotional or bodily distresses, and carried all my emotional wounds and pain to the cross. He was wounded so I don’t have to be wounded.  He was bruised so I can be free of guilt and shame. He was chastised to end the working for approval and freedom. I am no longer a slave. I have a new identity through Jesus Christ. I am one with Him, and therefore, I have a new life. A life that is healed and whole.

Psalm 107:20
He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.

I declare that the Word of the Lord has gone forth and healed me, and rescued me from the depth of satan’s destructions. I am freed by Your Word, I will stay free by Your Word.  Your Word is higher than any other word, and God watches over His Word to perform it continuously!

Isaiah 58:8
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

I declare and decree that as I have set aside this time to be with You, and as I have kept You first and foremost, that my light is breaking forth like the morning, and my healing, my restoration, and the power that You have given me for new life, is springing forth speedily. My own righteousness, because of Jesus living in me, is bringing me to a different level of relationship with You. I will be just as if I had never sinned in my own mind. Therefore I am confident and bold in following You, and You go before me, escorting me, and managing my way to enjoy peace and prosperity. Your glory will not only go before me, but You’ve got my back, guarding me in all my ways.

Psalm 34:15, 17
The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.

I am so humbled that You are looking at me (us) with Your own eyes. You are looking at those who are uncompromisingly righteous, not by their own strength, but because of my (our) oneness with You. Your ears are listening, and when I (we) cry for help, You hear and You deliver me (us) from all our trouble and distresses.

Psalm 46:1
God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.

I declare that God You are my refuge and my strength. You make me mighty and keep me from temptation. You are always present and You have proven Yourself to me and to all who will put their trust in You, that You are an ever-present helper in times of trouble.

John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

I declare that even though the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, I am more than a conqueror. I am a Champion. I only have victory in mind because I have You, Jesus, and You have already come to give me a life I can enjoy and live in Your abundance, to the full, until it overflows out of me and brings Kingdom impact to others!

I declare and decree that it is Your will for me to be healthy and whole in every area of my life. I will not stop believing until I fully receive all You have provided for me, and it manifests itself in my life.

I will praise You Lord at all times, and Your Word will always be in my heart and my mouth. It will bring all that is needed for me and all those around me.

I live protected by the confessions of my mouth as they align with Your Word.

I will praise You all the days of my life, and I will choose You as the most vital necessity of my life.

Jesus Christ is Lord!  I will put my faith and trust in Him and Him alone!
