ALL OUT - SPIRIT EMPOWERED WORSHIP
We have ALL experienced the amazing things that happen when true worship comes from the people leading worship. Then the people who are present come into that same place where the focus is only on God. That is when the shift occurs! We shift from just singing to letting OUT the cry of our hearts that desire only to honor God.
When a company of people are ALL OUT SPIRIT EMPOWERED to give Him the honor and praise that He deserves, worship becomes a meeting place where the revelations of Heaven become a reality on earth. It is then that the worshippers begin to play their instruments with a supernatural EMPOWERMENT. They are making sounds that they didn’t know they could make, or making sounds that they know are SPIRIT EMPOWERED, agreeing with Heaven’s presence.
This is the reality of Heaven on earth to those who love Him with ALL their hearts and ALL their being! I love it when we get to those moments when the Holy SPIRIT orchestrates the worship, the dancers, the prophecies, the healings (or whatever else He likes). That brings unity among the people like nothing else can. Personal preference is gone. Our priorities become the priorities of the SPIRIT and everything gets put back in divine order.
I long for us to ALL experience the highest praise, every time we meet. The truth is, we often come together to get what we need to help overcome our feelings and receive peace for what we are dealing with.
It’s easy to praise God wholeheartedly when ALL is going well. It requires a sacrifice that goes beyond our own feelings when we offer Him a sacrifice of praise.
Hebrews 13:15 NKJV
Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.
Think of King David, a man after God’s own heart; he knew he had sinned and caused God pain. Then the result of choosing that sin cost David much more pain. His child died because of it. I can’t even imagine the pain of that!
Aren’t you glad we are not living under the Old Testament, but living under the grace of the New Testament? We no longer have to pay the price for our sins, because Jesus paid them ALL.
Imagine David enduring this, and consider how this could have caused a distance between him and the Father. After he knew that there was nothing else to be done to save the baby, he didn’t feel sorry for himself. He didn’t blame God. Instead, he did something amazing.
2 Samuel 12:20 NKJV
So David arose from the ground, washed and anointed himself, and changed his clothes; and he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he went to his own house; and when he requested, they set food before him, and he ate.
He modeled for us the proper way to respond to loss. Get your heart back in sync with the Father, and go to Him with your heart wide open in worship, and allow Him to heal you as you worship Him through the storm.
We need to understand that worship is a lifestyle. It’s our way of keeping a grateful heart for who God is and remembering ALL He has done for us.
I believe God is blessed the most when we offer Him the sacrifice of worship through the pain. We can look at it this way: we are acknowledging that our will is bowing to the will of the SPIRIT, which is always to lift up the Name of Jesus. We are remembering His sacrifice.
For Jesus, we know that obeying the Father’s will was praising Him at the highest level. And it is for us, as well.
Worship involves more than we realize. It will also involve the surrender of our lives.
Romans 12:1 NKJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Yes, presenting everything before God, and worshipping Him through the good times and the bad, is just reasonable. The definition of the word reasonable means to be logical.
How could we not worship Him after ALL He has done for us? If you need help in getting into that mode, you can join with one of David’s Psalms:
Psalm 100:1-5 NKJV
1 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, ALL you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to ALL generations.
There is such a difference between coming together and “singing” and coming together to “worship” HIM.
Let us be cognizant of the truth that we need the Holy Spirit to help us to even worship God in the depths that He deserves. Let us come prayed up, fired up, and surrendered, to enter into the realms of the SPIRIT that God has created for us to experience as we begin this year.
Then let us go OUT of these walls with worship still singing in our hearts to reach the lonely, the forgotten, the hurting, and release the presence of His POWER to them. So be it!
Father, we know You have entrusted us with so much already. We have experienced Your presence and we have been a part of ALL OUT worship to You. But we also know that is just the “starter kit.” Please help us press further into You, together, as one. Let us be aware of what a difference it makes when we center our focus on You and Your love, Your forgiveness, and Your amazing EMPOWERMENT. Let us never forget to praise You, because praise matters to You. You deserve it ALL! Let our lives praise You in every aspect.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
