SPIRIT EMPOWERED TO BE ALL OUT
We are living in a time where it is really necessary to live with the POWER of the Holy Ghost active in our lives.
Otherwise, the things going on around us and around the world could steal our joy, our peace, and our focus.
The scripture clearly tells us that doesn’t have to apply to us.
Romans 15:13 KJV
Now the God of hope fill you with ALL joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the POWER of the Holy Ghost.
God knew everyone and everything we would face during our lifetime. Think about that! And He already provided a remedy for us to be able to live as He intended us to—enjoying and living life above the fray.
Of course, if we are to do that, we need to understand what the definition of EMPOWERMENT is:
- To give official authority and legal POWER.
- To enable, to influence, to authorize, to commission, to qualify
First, we must be assured that we have the authority to enact our legal POWER. We are promised by the Lord, Himself, that He has given us ALL POWER against the POWER of the enemy.
Luke 10:19 NKJV
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the POWER of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
As we operate under that official, legal authority, we also find that we win! But of course, this is the very thing the enemy is terrified of.
The antonym of EMPOWERED is prevent. We must see what the Word is saying for us to act upon in order to remain in our authority.
Ephesians 5:15 ESV
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise.
This is obviously our choice. We can walk without wisdom if we choose.
Ephesians 5:16 ESV
Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Prioritizing our time is essential! Being aware of the days we are living in shouldn’t frighten us, but it should cause us to be more determined.
Ephesians 5:17 ESV
Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
We have the wisdom of God available to us, and we need to take advantage of it.
Ephesians 5:18 ESV
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the SPIRIT.
Debauchery is extreme indulgence in bodily pleasures. God is calling us to make holy choices that will set us apart.
Being FILLED with the SPIRIT of God leaves no room inside for those things. To live a Holy Spirit EMPOWERED, ALL OUT life, we must:
- Resolve to live our lives for God.
- Maximize every season He gives us.
- Allow the presence of the SPIRIT to be the strongest influence in our lives.
Ephesians 2:7 TPT
Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite, limitless riches of His grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ.
Glory to God! We—you and me, and ALL of those who make up the Body of Christ—are on display to the world to prove the character of God to others and draw them to Him.
When Jesus was leaving His disciples in charge with official authority to have victory over the enemy and spread the Gospel, He said this:
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive POWER when the Holy SPIRIT has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in ALL Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Therefore, we must become more aware of the SPIRIT’S POWER moving in us and through us.
We must concentrate on doing ALL we do ALL OUT AS THE SPIRIT LEADS. Being one in the SPIRIT gives us the connection we need. Hallelujah!
Ephesians 2:18 TPT
And now, because we are united to Christ, we both have equal and direct access in the realm of the Holy SPIRIT to come before the Father!
Lord, we come into this year with anticipation of ALL You can do and ALL we can do WITH You. We are coming to You in the SPIRIT realm—the realm You have made us to move in beyond the natural realm. We want to be with You, receive from You, and apply it ALL, to be effective representatives for You.
We love You, and we want to be fully aware of what You deem important. That is what is really of vital importance, and we dedicate this time of prayer and fasting to be ALL OUT for You!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
